Meet Ellen
Ellen Altman, BSW, is currently pursuing her Master of Social Work degree at Concordia University Wisconsin. She earned her Bachelor of Social Work in May 2026, also from Concordia University Wisconsin. She brings hands-on experience supporting children, families, and individuals through home visiting, child welfare, and housing services. Ellen is deeply passionate about trauma-informed, strengths-based care, with a particular commitment to working alongside vulnerable populations, including individuals experiencing homelessness and families and children navigating the child welfare system. She believes in meeting people where they are and recognizing the resilience and strengths already present in every individual and family she works with.
Her goal is to continue guiding individuals through challenging times by building on their inherent resiliency and strengths, using a trauma-informed lens to foster stability, empowerment, and lasting change.
