Driver
Grafton senior citizen looking for someone to provide an occasional ride to the bank, post office, library, grocery store, etc. Volunteer for this particular client should not be sensitive to smoke - although client will not smoke in volunteer’s presence.
Rides for an elderly Grafton man
Allow a 100 year old Grafton man to remain living independently by giving him a ride a couple of times a month to the grocery store, pharmacy, post office, etc. Time commitment would be 1 – 2 hours per outing.
Snow Removal
Make the life of a local senior citizen a little easier by assisting with snow shoveling. We can match you with a senior in your neighborhood. This can be done alone or as a family. You’ll get the satisfaction of helping someone in addition to getting some great exercise!
Light Housekeeping Assistance
Assist an elderly Mequon woman with housekeeping (vacuuming, mopping, bathroom) twice a month. She has a cat and dog.
Driver - on an “as needed” basis
Start Date: Any time
Our senior clients rely on volunteers to take them to medical appointments, the grocery store, the pharmacy, etc. Let us know what day(s) and times might work for you and we will contact you as specific needs arise. At that time, you decide whether or not you can help with that particular need. Very flexible. You can make a big impact in the life of a local senior by providing just one ride a month.
“Handy man”
By assisting a local senior with misc. projects, you will be allowing him or her to continue to live in their own home. We’ll contact you as projects arise. Some of these might include: minor fix-it jobs, changing a hard to reach light bulb, cleaning gutters, etc. This is a great opportunity even if you work full time. Projects can be done when it is convenient for you and the time commitment is minimal.
