Prevention

Ozaukee Family Services offers presentations to schools and community organizations to promote healthy lifestyles and empower children and youth with techniques to keep themselves safe and healthy.

  • Protective behaviors
    Focuses on stranger awareness, good touch/bad touch, and techniques to help children identify and respond to uncomfortable and potentially dangerous situations.
  • Eating disorders
    Focuses on identifying problems, including anorexia nervosa and bulimia, promoting positive body images and healthy lifestyles.
  • Acquaintance rape
    Helps teens avoid becoming victims of physical and sexual abuse.
  • Internet safety
    Provides tips for parents and youth to help ensure online safety.
