Rainbows

RAINBOWS is a 12-week program that offers healing through peer support groups for children dealing with a family change or a loss.

The goal of the RAINBOWS curriculum is to help participants:

• Understand and express their feelings
• Build a stronger sense of self-esteem
• Direct their energy toward healthy acceptance of these changes.

Children (kindergarten through 8th grade) participate in similar age groups to share activities, write in journals and discuss concerns. A trained facilitator leads each group. Confidentiality is vital to foster trust and provide a safe environment.
